One week sure flies by when you've been procrastinating all summer  ^_^;;  I haven't even gotten a chance to make a proper post about Japan and already I'm off on my next trip to Québec for the 400th Anniversary Celebrations.  I've been so busy with stuff for University and planning for this trip and... who am I kidding, I've totally spent the whole week partying with my friends  XD  But anyways, that's how I've ended up awake at 1.30am the night before I depart for Québec typing up loose ends.

Japan was FANTASTIC.  I'll have to make a proper entry about it when I get back on the 18th, but it was SO GOOD.  God, I love that country  <3


Well in any case, I'll see you all in a week!!  (umm figuratively, of course)  ^__^  And then I'll make a post about both of my summer voyages.

In... let's see now, 10 hours I will be leaving for JAPAN!!  =D

Alright, so here are some French language learning resources for anyone interested (maybe I should find an LJ group to post these to?)

Firstly, a website for checking French grammar (not an Internet translator, an actual grammar checker endorsed by French Immersion teachers)

Secondly, this is a list that was given to me... way back in my first year of high school and I've used in for every French assignment I've written since.  It's just a list of words and phrases that you can use in essays (or even just talking to people) that serve to enhance your writing.  Conversely, if you're a francophone learning English, you can use the list in reverse - I use these words in English essays as well  =D


EDIT: jamieisondrugs recommended using leconjugueur.com.  I's the equivalent of an online Bescherelle (it can be used to check verb conjugations and the like) but it also has a ton of pages on other aspects of French grammar and even spelling tips.

Okay, so maybe it was too early to say "Bonne soirée"  =D  Actually... it's the morning anyways.  Damn, I need to get to bed earlier.

So, I've read 24 out of 100.  Not bad for a teenager, eh?  ; D

En août, je vais passer une semaine au Québec et je ne veux pas que j'oublie comment parler français en attendant.  Alors, je vais pratiquer ici  =D

Finalement, j'ai reçu mes notes des examens d'AP.  Mais... Je n'ai pas reçu ma note pour FLA  D=  Dieu que le monde est injuste!!  J'ai reçu un 5 en LA (qui est très bon) et un 1 en Espagnole (qui est très mal)... Je crois que l'examen d'Espagnole AP a été trop difficile pour mes connaissances  >__> 

Je suis très inquiète, car Morgan a reçu sa note pour FLA.  Mais je n'ai pas reçu le mien... Je ne sais pas pourquoi.  Je crois que les correcteurs ont eu de difficulté de lire mes dissertations  O__O  Je pense que ce n'est pas normal du tout, que je n'ai pas reçu ma note avec tous les autres...

Je ne sais pas quoi faire!!

Mais, au moins je sais que je vais voir le spectacle québécois pour Les Misérables cet été.  Je peux être content de ce fait   ^__^

Wow, just wow.  I was actually so impressed.  But I know that Hancock has been getting a lot of... well, shall we say sub-par reviews.  But here's the thing...


So, moving on...

I've actually been feeling a lot more creative lately (which somehow happened after I got my new laptop, don't ask me why) after a creative slump of... oh, let me see... a couple years or so?  Anyways, I'd like to give this whole writing fanfic thing another try.  And Hancock seems like a pretty good place to start.
